These photos show some of my life in the village Icheon. I spent a year there as an apprentice to master Kwak Kyung Tae, in his studio Toroo, learning traditional ceramics. Icheon is known for two great things; growing the favorite rice of the Joseon Kings, and producing some of the nation’s best pottery.
